To install the aspi interface for Windows XP, 2000, or NT4 extract the 
windows_aspi_10701.zip package to a temp folder on the hard drive.
either double-click on setup.exe in the folder or browse from START\
RUN\<path>\setup.exe

this aspi layer will require a reboot to become active.
